His Higher Specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was through the West Midlands Orthopaedic Training Programme, Birmingham, U.K.
During his training, he passed the intercollegiate Board of the Royal College of Surgeons exam and obtained the FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2008.
His Certificate of Completion of Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics was awarded in October 2010.

He was then subsequently appointed as a Substantive Permanent Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in June 2013.
His area of expertise includes Total Hip Arthroplasty, Pelvic and Acetabular Fracture treatment, Periprosthetic fractures treatment around the hip and knee and Complex Lower limb Trauma treatment.
He provides a tertiary service for Pelvic and Acetabular Fracture Service for the West Midlands region at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham which is the Major Trauma Centre within the West Midlands region
He provides NHS elective hip replacement services with clinics at the Solihull Hospital and has operating lists at Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals
He has an ardent interest in Medical Education and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in education for Health Professionals.
He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham in the school of Medical Sciences. All Joint Replacements performed by the surgeon are included in the National Joint Registry.
